Our client located in Dallas, TX has an immediate need for an Operations Manager. This is a direct hire in office opportunity.

Our client is a growing event rental and services organization
Operations Manager Role
Lead the day to day operations of a 90,000 square foot facility with five to six operating departments
Oversee warehouse operations, logistics, delivery and pickup scheduling, field operations, inventory readiness, and overall operational execution
Lead department managers and team members while creating a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Manage labor planning and staffing levels based on business volume and seasonal demand
Own operational financial performance including budgets, labor costs, supplies, fleet expenses, cost center performance, and cost of goods sold
Analyze P&L information, scorecards, KPIs, labor efficiency, and other operational data to identify opportunities for improvement
Create and manage operating budgets and make informed decisions based on financial and operational data
Oversee fleet operations, maintenance schedules, and related costs
Partner with Sales and other departments to ensure successful execution of client events
Participate in client meetings, site assessments, and event site visits as needed
Provide operational guidance regarding logistics, feasibility, resources, and costs during client planning
Respond to operational challenges and provide leadership during high volume or time sensitive situations
Spend significant time throughout the operation, including approximately half of the onsite time within the warehouse environment
Step into warehouse, delivery, or other operational responsibilities when business demands require additional leadership support
Recruit, coach, develop, and manage employees and department leaders
Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements throughout the operation
Operations Manager Background Profile
Bilingual English and Spanish strongly preferred, but not required
Proven operations leadership experience within a fast paced, labor intensive environment, event rental and or services organization supporting weddings, corporate events, celebrations, and large scale productions is preferred.
Experience managing a large facility with multiple departments or operational functions
Demonstrated success leading sizable teams; experience overseeing 100 or more employees highly preferred
Strong financial and business acumen including P&L, budgeting, cost centers, labor management, KPIs, and operational analytics
Experience creating and managing operating budgets
Fleet management experience
Strong leadership presence with an assertive, decisive, and solutions focused management style
Self starter who takes initiative and does not wait for direction
Highly adaptable and self aware with the ability to communicate effectively with executives, clients, managers, and frontline employees
Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking skills
Comfortable working in both professional client facing environments and hands on warehouse or yard environments
Ability and willingness to roll up their sleeves and assist wherever needed
Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and email
Comfortable using tablets, Zoom, and multiple business software platforms
AI technology exposure a plus
Bilingual English and Spanish strongly preferred, but not required
