2nd Shift Anodize Supervisor
Our client based in the Dallas, Texas metro area is seeking a skilled Anodize Supervisor for the 2nd Shift. This is a full-time, permanent position with relocation options available.
Role Overview:
- Lead daily operations in the anodize department as the shift supervisor.
- Coordinate workflow, support team members, and ensure production targets are met while upholding quality and safety standards.
- Direct, schedule, and oversee employees in the anodize area during assigned shift operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production efficiency across the organization.
- Enforce ISO guidelines to ensure compliance and adherence to procedures.
- Monitor operational costs and manage resources within budgetary constraints.
- Provide training to ensure safe, consistent, and effective task performance by employees.
- Offer guidance, motivation, and if necessary, disciplinary action following company policies.
- Maintain attendance records and address payroll discrepancies as needed.
- Conduct regular safety and production meetings with team members.
- Ensure the use of safety equipment and monitor potential workplace hazards.
- Verify equipment safety and oversee correct process execution.
- Conduct annual performance appraisals and recommend wage adjustments within budget limits.
- Participate in the recruitment process to maintain adequate staffing levels.
- Promptly report any production or personnel issues to the Anodize Manager.
- Assist the manager with various production projects and initiatives as required.
- Perform additional duties to support departmental operations.
Desired Background Profile:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role (e.g., Supervisor, Lead, or Foreman).
- Thorough knowledge of anodize processes and chemicals to effectively guide and train staff.
- Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with ISO quality systems and their implementation in metal finishing operations.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while ensuring work practices are safe and efficient.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Availability to work until midnight if required.

Job Requirements
