Quality Manager
Our client in the DFW Metro area is looking for an experienced Quality Manager to oversee quality operations at a manufacturing facility. This is a Direct Hire position.
Role Overview:
- Lead quality assurance and control functions to ensure products meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Be hands-on and actively present on the plant floor to drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Manage the Quality Department, including inspectors, technicians, and lab personnel.
- Oversee quality processes like first piece inspections and in-process audits.
- Identify and resolve quality concerns in real time by collaborating with production teams.
- Improve quality systems related to production processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
- Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related issues with customers.
- Analyze quality data to drive improvements in scrap reduction and process capability.
- Maintain quality documentation and support internal/external audits.
- Train and develop quality team members to drive engagement and performance.
Background Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of quality leadership experience in manufacturing.
- Proficient in quality tools like 8D, Fishbone, SPC, and FMEA.
- Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
- Must be comfortable working on the production floor in hot, industrial conditions.
- May require off-shift or weekend work to support 24/7 operations.

Job Requirements
Minimum of 5 years in a quality leadership role within a manufacturing environment; experience in metal processing or similar industries is highly desirable.
