Job Description
Our client located in Austin, Texas close to downtown is in need a of a Mid-Level Project Scheduler to work on a big mulit-year transportation project. This is an onsite direct hire opportunity.

Mid-Level Project Scheduler Role
Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
Support a major transit infrastructure program, including expansion of new rail lines connecting downtown Austin to the airport and additional east-west corridors
Partner with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define scope, timelines, and deliverables across long-term infrastructure projects
Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect actual performance and evolving project conditions
Identify schedule risks, delays, and critical path impacts; provide mitigation strategies and recommendations
Perform schedule analysis including critical path, float, and resource loading
Support baseline schedule development and ongoing schedule validation
Generate reports and dashboards on milestones, progress, and performance metrics
Participate in project meetings and provide scheduling insights to support decision-making
Ensure alignment with industry best practices and internal scheduling standards
Manage multiple priorities within a large-scale, multi-year program
Mid-Level Project Scheduler Background Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field
3–6 years of experience in project scheduling or project controls
Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 (required)
Solid understanding of CPM scheduling, resource loading, and schedule analysis techniques
Experience in large-scale infrastructure, construction, transportation, or engineering projects preferred
Exposure to cost controls and earned value management (EVM) is a plus
Familiarity with tools such as Power BI or Tableau preferred
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
