Office Manager / Executive Administrative Assistant
Our client, located in the Rice Military area of Houston, TX, is in need of a Contract to Possible hire Office Manager / Executive Administrative Assistant.

Company Profile:
This is an opportunity to join a well-established non-profit organization that does amazing work with children.   They are known for the incredible ways they support the Arts and impact children’ s’ lives in a very meaningful way.

The Office Manager / Executive Administrative Assistant Role:
Will supervise the front desk receptionist
Will directly support the Executive Director
Manages the organization' s overall daily office operations and responsibilities
Will work with the Board of Directors and the Board of Trustees
Will prepare correspondence, reports and special projects
Monitor the email, mail and telephone messages for the Executive Director
Will manage the building maintenance and facilities
Will maintain personnel files and all records 
Attend fundraising events that are usually held over the weekend
Will act as secretary for the Board of Directors and Board of Trustees
Coordinate meetings with members
Record minutes and attendance
Update handbook annually
Track paid time off days for close to 50 employees

Office Manager / Executive Administrative Assistant Background Profile:
Bilingual in both English and Spanish would be ideal, but is not required
Bachelor' s degree
Previous office management experience
Previous experience working with a Board of Directors
Excellent organizational skills
Flexible personality
Some understanding of basic HR issues 
Proficient at Microsoft Word and Excel
Must be willing to get a Flu shot, which is provided by the organization
