Advanced Practice Nurse - Vascular Specialist
Our esteemed client is in search of an Advanced Practice Nurse in Corpus Christi, TX. This role entails providing comprehensive patient care within a private practice setting, with potential rounds at hospitals and long-term care facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing patient conditions, collaborating with healthcare teams, and ensuring seamless care continuity across all settings. This full-time position does not require evening or weekend shifts.

Advanced Practice Nurse Responsibilities:
- Deliver holistic patient care in a private outpatient clinic with an on-site lab.
- Conduct rounds at hospitals and long-term acute care facilities as necessary.
- Perform vascular and vein procedures, such as angiograms and venograms.
- Attend to a patient load of 30-40 individuals daily, including new consultations and follow-ups.
- Operate under physician-established treatment guidelines and make independent care decisions within scope post-training.
- Collaborate closely with a vascular surgeon and an interventional radiologist.
- Coordinate with sonographers for ultrasound procedures; prior ultrasound experience not required.
- Open to applicants from related medical fields (e.g., cardiology, general surgery) with relevant expertise.
- Assess, diagnose, and manage various patient conditions.
- Maintain precise, confidential medical records.
- Adhere to established protocols directed by the medical director.
- Remain composed and efficient during medical emergencies.
- Meet physical demands, including assisting patients, standing for prolonged periods, and working potentially extended hours.
Qualifications for Advanced Practice Nurse:
- Minimum of two years of experience in vascular care preferred.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish desirable.
- Experience in outpatient vascular procedures highly advantageous; expertise in related specialties also considered.
- Licensure as an ACNP or FNP.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Up-to-date compliance with Continuing Medical Education requirements.

Job Requirements
Two years of experience within vascular preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Experience with outpatient vascular procedures strongly preferred; related specialties considered.
