This Medical Malpractice Defense Secretarial position is ideal for the candidate who thrives in a high-volume, high-profile desk supporting a team of 4 Attorneys.
Candidate is working with an ultra-professional team
Candidate will support attorneys representing hospitals, clinics and doctors
Trial preparation from case inception
Calendar Management
Document management
Type, revise and proofread documents
Coordinate depositions & meetings
Set up expert witnesses
Order medical records and create chronologies
Ability to converse with insurance companies
Medical Malpractice Defense Litigation Secretary Profile
4+years of experience in Defense Medical Malpractice litigation
Ability to take direction from seasoned Attorneys
Candidate must present well and dress the part as this position is front-facing with doctors
Candidate must be adaptable to the team’s methods of working up a case
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to work in a demanding environment
Must possess excellent and friendly communication skills as you will meet with clients
Candidate must be able to work in a high-volume case setting
