Meat Supervisor Role:
The Meat Supervisor is responsible for supervising the Meat, Seafood and Cremeria departments in the DFW market. Works closely with department leaders on daily operations, standards, sanitation, company programs, pricing, inventory management, and merchandising.
Strong business acumen and knowledge of food production and meat market/seafood operations.
Ability to teach, train and develop leaders and employees in Meat, Seafood, and Cremeria operations.
Recruit and build strong teams.
A role model of Customer Service.
Strong understanding of company values, policies, practices and ensuring employee compliance.
Audit departments for safety, sanitation and company compliance and make appropriate corrective actions.
Work with department leaders on merchandising, inventory levels, pricing, ordering, labor expense and budget management.
Utilizing data to grow sales and profits.
Use detailed reports on sales, profits, and trends to make purchasing decisions.
Adhere to all state, local and company policies and regulations on health and safety.
Work with leadership to execute and promote company directives and promotions/campaigns.
Strong merchandising skills.

Meat Supervisor Background Profile:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Food or Agricultural Science, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Bilingual preferred but not required.
Multi-Unit leadership preferred but not required.
Two years supervisory experience required.
Demonstrated experience in regulatory compliance for food manufacturing and/or commercial kitchens, food processing and kitchen sanitation, and/or processing procedures in inspected facilities.
Food Safety Management certification required.
