Our client, located in Costa Mesa, CA, is in need of a Market Manager with a background in Architectural Stone and Tile or closely related field. This is a direct hire opportunity.

The Market Manager Role:
Hire, train and coach a team of 3 to 4 Sales Associates
Create and execute a local marketing strategy that reaches out to the community to introduce our brand while targeting specific audiences.
Will be active in the community to market and build brand in organizations such as ASID, NKBA, ICA, AIA, etc.
Recommend product/vendors to fill category gaps in showroom
Maintain impeccable standards on the sales floor so that our clients can see our attention to detail in everything we do
Set the tone, pace and energy of the location through leading by example
Oversee client order follow up and timely communication
Manage showroom profit and loss and budget within parameters
Review and analyze the budget monthly
Manager expenditures within the showroom to meet profitability goals
The Market Manager Background Profile:
Bachelor’ s degree in design, marketing or a business discipline; or equivalent education through work experience.
Computer skills to include MS Office
Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
Ability to provide own transportation
Willing to work evenings and weekends as required
Strong business development background and the ability to do both outside sales and showroom sales
A background in Architectural Stone and Tile is ideal, but will consider a background in other types of flooring as well
Industry contacts such as builders, interior designers and architects
