Manufacturing Engineer Role:
Manufacturing Engineer will oversee all plant systems and procedures enhancing manufacturing production while adhering to and promoting safety and quality guidelines
Determine cause and effect and corrective measures ensuring standards of quality
Assess the plant’s production processes
Identify improvement opportunities, consistency, work procedures, flow, etc.
Partner with various teams to initiate and implement changes
Implement Lean concepts throughout the plant including
Design training programs for production employees over technical components of quality products
Partner with the Design Engineering groups regarding new product introduction and changes to existing products
Project Management of capital equipment projects
Budget responsibilities
Manufacturing Engineer Background Profile:
Degree in Engineering, preferably Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical
3 or more years of experience in a similar role/capacity
6+ years of experience in a Manufacturing, Mechanical or industrial engineering role
Strong knowledge of factory metrics and Lean at a minimum
Six Sigma experience is a plus and any experience with 5S, Visual Work, Kanban, etc. is a plus
Knowledge of quality standards, capital equipment, procurement, and preventative maintenance
