Manufacturing Engineer
Our established client with locations in Dallas, TX is looking to hire a full-time Manufacturing Engineer to join their team on a direct hire basis.

Manufacturing Engineer Role:
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving product quality, and increasing production efficiency.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, you will analyze existing manufacturing methods, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Optimize efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance production workflows, minimize waste, and streamline manufacturing operations.
Improvement initiatives, such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma projects, to drive efficiency and innovation.
Conduct time studies, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis to identify and address inefficiencies in manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with product development teams to ensure manufacturability and scalability of new products.
Provide input on design for manufacturability (DFM) principles to optimize production processes and minimize manufacturing costs.
Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure product consistency and compliance with quality standards.
Conduct process audits, perform statistical analysis, and implement corrective actions to address deviations and improve quality metrics.
Provide technical support to production teams, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, and resolving production bottlenecks.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training materials for manufacturing processes.
Evaluate and recommend equipment upgrades, automation solutions, and tooling improvements to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
Coordinate equipment installations, commissioning, and validation activities in collaboration with maintenance and operations teams.
Work closely with supply chain partners to optimize material flow, reduce lead times, and minimize inventory levels.
Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve supplier performance.
Identify and mitigate potential hazards, implement ergonomic improvements, and promote a culture of safety within the manufacturing environment.
Manufacturing Engineer Background Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, fabrication, and automation.
Proficiency in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Total Quality Management (TQM).
Experience with CAD/CAM software, manufacturing simulation tools, and ERP systems is desirable.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
