Maintenance Technician
Our client in Carrollton, TX is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a 2x2x3 night shift schedule (6 PM – 6 AM). This position offers direct hire with overtime opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to ensure equipment operates at OEM standards.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to uphold equipment functionality and reduce downtime.
- Conduct preventive maintenance following OEM guidelines.
- Diagnose issues in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control systems.
- Install and align new equipment and components.
- Interpret schematics, manuals, and diagrams accurately.
- Document work, report problems, and assist planning team in necessary improvements.
- Adhere to all safety protocols including LOTO, confined space, fall protection, and hot work.
- Support reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a similar role within a heavy industrial setting.
- Proficiency in using volt-meters and troubleshooting live circuits.
- Familiarity with sensors, relays, fuses, motor starters, and VFDs.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics.
- Experience with diaphragm and hydraulic pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic valves and cylinders, as well as gearboxes, bearings, shafts, sprockets, and drive chains.
- AB/Rockwell PLC troubleshooting and updates.
- VFD programming and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong root cause analysis capabilities.
- Preferably certified in vibration/motion amplification and infrared techniques.
