Maintenance Supervisor Role:
Maintenance Supervisor will Ensure equipment reliability to maximize production line productivity
Deploy strategies in reliability that build maintenance and technician capabilities
Implement process improvements to drive efficiency
Maintenance Supervisor tracks standard manufacturing and warehouse metrics and prioritize plant maintenance opportunities
Train and supervise employees of the maintenance department
Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for execution of maintenance work
Ensure operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems through timely inspection and repair
Maintenance Supervisor will ensure that company premises and facilities are kept in a clean condition
Implement workplace safety policies and standards; LOTO, etc.
Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist the team to solve operational issues
Build people’s capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnel
Motivate team members to achieve plan goals
Administer policies and procedures
Prioritize work requests
Maintenance Supervisor will work with local and out of town suppliers in ordering parts used in maintenance and keeping supplies in house
Maintenance Supervisor Background Profile:
5+ years of operations maintenance experience preferred; 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred
Must have strong Preventative Management experience including scheduling and reporting
Must have managed a team of 10 plus techs, ideally 15 techs minimum
Highly prefer someone with engineering experience
Methodical mindset
Experience with scheduling, purchasing, and contract labor
Mechanical experience maintaining equipment
Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
This role may require off-shift and weekend work
Strong leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring others
Effective mentoring, facilitation, presentation, and team-building skills
Computer knowledge-Lawson, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Etc.
Computer knowledge using internet to look for new suppliers/parts for better cost
