Maintenance Manager
Our client just outside of Tampa, FL is seeking a Maintenance Manager on a direct-hire basis.

Maintenance Manager Role:
Maintenance Manager will supervises and coordinates activities related to maintaining, repairing, and installing a variety of machines and equipment within the facility.
Responsible for planning and assigning work, implementing policies and procedures, recommending equipment improvements, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and housekeeping standards. 
Provides technical support for designated projects and production lines. 
Evaluate work orders to determine necessary actions and personnel required.
Ensure availability of parts and tooling for repairs and work orders.
Maintenance Manager will assess special projects, such as program changes and equipment modifications, ensuring updates to schematics and blueprints.
Establish work content and frequency for preventative maintenance activities, scheduling and conducting spot inspections plantwide.
Develop and maintain equipment specifications and history data, analyzing production equipment repair history and reports.
Monitor and track causes of production downtime, implementing countermeasures.
Maintenance Manager will plan, schedule, and order necessary materials, equipment, and spare parts for daily activities.
Responsible for maintenance area processes, equipment, safety, and housekeeping, meeting production and quality standards.
Oversee overall facility maintenance, including space allocation, communication services, and grounds upkeep.
Maintenance Manager will initiate cost reduction and process improvement projects to increase efficiency, product quality, and safety.
Provide technical assistance to production for tooling and equipment-related work orders, collaborating with outside contractors as needed.
Develop team leaders to effectively manage daily routines and maintenance staff.

Maintenance Manager Background Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical preferred, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in manufacturing
OR
Technical School Certification with 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing
Must have management experience will be leading a team of 10
Strong background in mechanical and electrical systems
Knowledge of FMX and PLC systems
Requires experience in the majority of the following Electrical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Gas Furnace, PLC, Mechanical, Preventative Maintenance, welding, and extrusion
