Job Description
Our downtown Dallas Law Firm is seeking a Loan Processor for a busy real estate group on a direct hire basis. Â

Full-service law firm with 15 organized practice groups
150+ attorneys
5 days in the office
Loan ProcessorÂ
The Law Firm client works for a title company and the law firm populates the loans on their behalf
Process commercial and residential real estate loans
Process loan requests
Review loan inquiries and submissions to ensure the file is complete
Work with the borrowers and buyers to complete the loan processÂ
Work with the closing department to ensure successful loan closings
Establish and maintain an efficient and productive working environmentÂ
Develop strong partnerships with business line leaders to support strategies and initiatives balancing risk with the business line’s financial goals
Respond to inquiries from executive and senior management as well as inquiries from compliance, credit administration, lending staff, lenders and investors to answer questions, provide documentation, explain procedures, interpret policy, resolve discrepancies, and handle complex problems
Provide technical advice and guidance to others on lending related loan software applications, systems, and processes. Maintain and demonstrate proficiency with our loan software applications
Loan Processor Background Profile
2+ years experience in Small Business lending and/or Real Estate Loan Administration is highly desirable or recent completion of paralegal studies
Highly advanced grammatical and spelling skills is required
Advanced written, oral and interpersonal skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
Proficiency with personal computers and related software
Expertise in MS Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
