Litigation Paralegal Role
The Litigation Paralegal will support four oil and gas litigators with various legal tasks and case management.
Help attorneys prepare for depositions and hearings.
Organize and review deposition transcripts and exhibits.
Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery forms.
Proofread and cite check motions and briefs.
Coordinate service of process for legal documents.
Handle document production, including scanning and loading into eDiscovery platforms like Relativity.
Compile and organize evidence.
File documents with state and federal courts.
Assist with trial preparation, including preparing exhibits and witness files.
Help present evidence at hearings and trials using software like PowerPoint and OnCue.
Conduct research on case-related individuals and companies.
Maintain docket/calendar entries and stay updated on legal rules and practices.
Litigation Paralegal Background
At least five years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in civil litigation.
Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Relativity, and OnCue.
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and discretion.
Willingness to work overtime when needed.
