Litigation Legal Assistant Role:
The Litigation Legal Assistant or Paralegal will support attorneys through all phases of the litigation process. This Bilingual Litigation Legal Assistant role is a contract position requiring an experienced, self-sufficient professional who can step in and immediately.
The Bilingual Litigation Legal Assistant or Paralegal will play a critical role in managing case files, coordinating with clients, and supporting trial preparation in a fast-paced personal injury environment.
Provide litigation support from case filing through trial
Draft, proofread, and file legal documents, state and federal e-filing
Maintain and organize case files, pleadings, and discovery materials
Assist with discovery, including document production and responses
Assist attorneys with drafting motions and briefs, supporting role, not primary drafting
Coordinate depositions, mediations, and court deadlines
Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel in Spanish and English
Support trial preparation, including exhibits and binders
Manage attorney calendars and ensure compliance with deadlines
Litigation Legal Assistant Background Profile:
5+ years of experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant or Paralegal
Personal injury litigation experience required
Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required
Strong knowledge of state and federal e-filing systems
Experience with Filevine a plus but not required
Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Ability to work independently with minimal training in a fast-paced environment
