Litigation Legal Assistant
Our client located in Dallas, Texas has an immediate need for a Litigation Legal Assistant on a direct hire basis.

Litigation Legal Assistant Role:
The Litigation Legal Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative support to two busy Partners, ensuring the efficient operation of the litigation practice.
Assisting attorneys in preparing for court proceedings, hearings, and trials.
Creating templates and reviewing and proofreading legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, deposition notices, subpoenas, and discovery materials.
Organizing and managing case files, ensuring accurate and timely filing of all documents.
Coordinating and scheduling appointments, meetings, court appearances, and travel.
Communicating with clients, witnesses, and court personnel as required.
Preparing and managing correspondence, expense reports, summaries, presentations, and other legal documents.
Assisting in the preparation and organization of exhibits and related materials for court proceedings.
Performing administrative tasks including filing, copying, and data entry.
Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to the firm’s ethical standards at all times.
Litigation Legal Assistant Background Profile:
Associate’s degree or higher.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial litigation.
Proficient with e-filing systems, PACER, and Texas court procedures.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), including experience drafting Tables of Contents, Tables of Authorities, and document templates (e.g., discovery responses, briefs, and motions).
Familiarity with document management systems and case management platforms
High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential information.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
