Litigation Legal Assistant
Our client in Dallas, Texas has an immediate opening for a Litigation Legal Assistant on a direct hire basis.

Litigation Legal Assistant Role:
The Litigation Legal Assistant will provide crucial support to 2-3 attorneys in a fast-paced practice.
Provide comprehensive administrative support to litigation attorneys, including preparing and filing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Draft and proofread legal correspondence, including letters and memos.
Manage and organize case files, both physical and electronic, utilizing case management software and electronic filing systems.
Coordinate and schedule depositions, court appearances, and meetings.
Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, preparing witness lists, and coordinating with expert witnesses.
Handle client communications and provide updates on case progress.
Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
Maintain accurate records of time entries and billing.
Litigation Legal Assistant Role Background Profile:
High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a litigation support role within a law firm.
Experience in commercial or business litigation required
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong typing skills, with a minimum of 65 words per minute.
Ability to multi-task and manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with exceptional proofreading skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional phone etiquette and client interaction.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
