Litigation Associate Role:
Litigation Associate will support two busy partners in a wide range of litigation matters.
Manage all aspects of litigation from inception through resolution, including legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, and preparing for hearings and trials.
Conduct depositions and witness interviews.
Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
Work with clients to develop litigation strategies and provide timely legal advice.
Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to ensure the effective handling of cases.
Manage case files, ensuring deadlines are met and documents are organized and complete.
Maintain regular communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Litigation Associate Background Profile:
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Minimum 3 years of litigation experience
Employment litigation experience is a plus.
Strong writing and oral advocacy skills.
Experience with discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
Admission to the state bar.
Experience in employment-related matters such as wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, and wage and hour claims preferred
Experience handling class actions or complex litigation cases.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
