Litigation Associate Attorney Role:
The Litigation Associate Attorney will manage a diverse caseload while working closely with partners and senior attorneys throughout all stages of litigation. This role offers significant opportunities for professional development, client interaction, and trial experience
Key responsibilities include:
Managing litigation matters from inception through resolution
Conducting legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery responses
Participating in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
Developing case strategies in collaboration with partners and clients
Conducting witness interviews and fact investigations
Managing discovery and document review processes
Preparing clients and witnesses for depositions and court proceedings
Maintaining regular communication with clients regarding case developments
Negotiating settlements and participating in alternative dispute resolution proceedings
Collaborating with attorneys across practice groups to achieve client objectives
Contributing to the firm's culture of teamwork, mentorship, and professional excellence
The Litigation Associate Attorney will have the opportunity to take ownership of meaningful legal work while receiving support and guidance from experienced attorneys committed to helping associates succeed
Litigation Associate Attorney Background Profile:
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar
Litigation experience preferred
Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
Experience drafting motions, briefs, pleadings, and discovery
Excellent verbal communication and advocacy skills
Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Client-focused mindset with a commitment to exceptional service
Desire to grow professionally within a collaborative law firm environment
Trial preparation and courtroom experience preferred
