Our client in Dallas, TX has an immediate need for a Legal Receptionist on a direct hire basis.

Legal Receptionist Role:
The Legal Receptionist will be instrumental in assisting with both the Intake and Billing procedures. Additionally, managing the main phone line, welcoming guests, and overseeing the firm's general mailbox.
Reviewing the firm's contact database to identify potential conflicts with current clients
Adding new clients and cases to the firm's time and billing platform
Recording vendor invoices, payments, and financial details accurately into the system
Ensuring payment reconciliation and investigating any discrepancies
Overseeing the management of the firm's credit card statements
Compiling and generating write-off reports when necessary
Editing and finalizing invoices for client review
Providing assistance to the Billing Coordinator and Accountant as needed
Managing incoming calls, screening, and directing them appropriately
Scheduling and maintaining conference rooms for meetings
Welcoming clients and visitors warmly and professionally
Handling incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting and preparing packages
Supporting administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
Legal Receptionist Background Profile:
High School Diploma required, Associates a plus
Law firm experience or accounting experience is required
2 + Legal Billing experience highly preferred
Experience with an Enterprise Accounting Software highly preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Detail-oriented, accurate, ability to multi-task, meet critical deadlines, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
Attention to details and time-management skills are a must
Proficient in basic computer skills, including Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
