Position: Paralegal
We are currently seeking a Paralegal based in Houston, Texas, to join us on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in labor and employment or insurance defense litigation support. Role Overview:
- Support attorneys in case preparation and litigation
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Manage multiple deadlines effectively
- Assist with discovery responses and document management
- Conduct client interviews for information gathering
- Coordinate document retrieval services for third-party records
- Prepare initial drafts of responsive pleadings and legal documents
- Review and summarize incoming records for attorney use
- Produce standard reports and litigation updates
Background Profile:
- Minimum 4+ years of paralegal experience in labor and employment law OR 5+ years in insurance defense or personal injury litigation
- Proficient in discovery, document management, and case preparation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certification preferred
