Healthcare Legal Assistant
Job Description
Do you have experience with corporate, transactional, and or M&A experience and open to trying a new practice area? Our client located in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Corporate Healthcare Legal Assistant to provide high-level administrative and legal support to attorneys across healthcare and corporate practice areas. This is a direct hire.

Corporate Healthcare Legal Assistant Role:
Prepare, format, and revise correspondence, memoranda, contracts, and legal documents
Draft formation documents and assist with corporate filings (including Secretary of State filings and name availability searches)
Prepare and organize electronic closing binders
Assist with private offering documents and corporate transactional materials
Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, coordinate travel, and submit expense reimbursements
Maintain electronic and physical client files
Review, edit, and process pre-bills and invoices
Coordinate CLE registrations and track attorney compliance
Provide general administrative support including document processing and team coverage
Create and maintain complex organizational charts
Collaborate with attorneys and practice group members as needed
Corporate Healthcare Legal Assistant Background Profile:
High school diploma required, College degree preferred
5+ years of legal administrative experience in one or more of the following areas Corporate, transactional, and M&A experience
Experience supporting corporate and/or healthcare attorneys
Strong knowledge of legal document preparation and editing
Familiarity with county and state court systems
Experience with legal billing software (Aderant preferred)
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Typing speed of 70+ WPM
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong proofreading skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
