Job Description
Our client in Frisco, Texas is seeking a skilled Litigation Associate to join their team on a direct hire basis.

Litigation Associate Role:
- Support a busy partner in a variety of litigation matters
- Handle all aspects of litigation from start to finish, including legal research, drafting legal documents, and preparing for hearings and trials
- Conduct depositions and witness interviews
- Represent clients in various legal proceedings
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff for effective case management
- Maintain case files, ensure deadlines are met, and manage documents efficiently
- Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Litigation Associate Background Profile:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar
- 3-5 years of litigation experience with a focus on conducting depositions
- Experience in insurance defense, particularly in personal injury claims
- Familiarity with billing guidelines
- Preferred experience in non-subscriber and employment litigation defense
- Strong writing and oral advocacy skills
- Proficiency in discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Team-oriented with a collaborative approach
- Strong work ethic with an annual billable target
- Detail-oriented and organized
