Inventory Lead
Job Description
Our client based in Coral Springs, Florida is in need of an Inventory Lead. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Inventory Lead Role:
Join the team as an Inventory Lead and become an integral part of the commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences
Pick and package sample products for shipment- this includes lifting products up to 30-40lbs, wrapping and stuffing boxes for safe transport, printing and adding the user manual, and printing of packing slips and shipping label
Responsible for basic computer input- using a Google Spreadsheet the Inventory Lead will add incoming shipment count to the spreadsheet and remove inventory count for outgoing shipments to maintain inventory count
Inform management when inventory is low to maintain an adequate product count
Work with the sales team regarding upcoming shipment needs to ensure timely shipping
Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and product manuals needed for all shipment
Maintain an exceptionally clean, neat, and orderly warehouse
Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate process by logging inventory coming in and going out
Use forklift and pallet jack when organizing inventory
Use basic hand tools when needed to open and close packaging
Inventory Lead Background Profile:
High School Degree required
2 years experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment
Strong understanding of inventory flow, count, and timing
Experience packaging shipments for safe transport
Intermediate computer skills and ability to learn new systems
Excellent communication skills; experience training and coaching associates
Comfortable with and able to use, learn and train new technology
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to push, pull, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 40 pounds
Operate warehouse equipment as required for the position (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, basic hand tools) which requires coordinated movements
Must have a clean background/record and the ability to pass a drug test
