Insurance Defense Junior Partner Role:
The Insurance Defense Junior Partner is ideal for a seasoned attorney with 7+ years of experience in personal injury and general liability litigation who is eager to drive business growth and mentor a team. While a current book of business is not required, a strong willingness to develop new business opportunities is essential.
Case Management: Lead case conferences, depositions, hearings, trials, mediations, and arbitrations.
Drafting and Oversight: Prepare and oversee the drafting of pleadings, motions, notices, and written discovery.
Fact Investigation: Conduct fact investigations and inspections to support case preparation.
Team Leadership: Coach and manage associates and paralegals, focusing on performance enhancement and conflict resolution.
Firm Collaboration: Participate in firm-wide meetings to provide updates on dockets and personnel.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with other firm leaders on financial projections and growth strategies.
Representation: Attend and represent the firm at sponsored firm events and business conferences.
Insurance Defense Junior Partner Background Profile:
Experience: 7+ years of experience in personal injury and general liability litigation.
Trial Experience: Proven experience in all aspects of the trial process.
Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead, motivate, organize, prioritize, and self-manage.
Business Development: Demonstrated interest and willingness to develop new business opportunities.
Client Focus: Commitment to exceeding client expectations and achieving favorable outcomes through settlement or trial.
