IT Development and Security Manager Role:
The IT Development and Security Manager will be at the forefront of our non-dispensing pharmacy and PBM operations to spearhead the planning, design, and implementation of IT projects and solutions, ensuring our company's continued success. You'll set the course for technology projects, manage dynamic teams, analyze data for improvements, architect complex solutions, and collaborate closely with our leadership team to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and client service.
Oversee IT Service Operation processes and governance as well as define and implement IT services.
Lead and empower the IT team for top-notch performance.
Collaborate as a trusted business partner for Process Owners/Managers.
Take charge of Incident Management and Problem Management.
Optimize operational services across business processes through continuous improvement.
Manage incidents, problems, access, events, and requests efficiently.
Monitor external partners at an operational level.
Handle crisis situations effectively.
Ensure Security and Audit compliance.
Collaborate with external resources and vendors on integrations and solutions.
Interface and manage offshore resources for development, quality assurance, and support.
Lead and manage software development groups using AGILE methodology.
Set achievable goals and maintain project timelines.
Provide guidance and support for team productivity.
Enforce software development procedures and processes.
Conduct code reviews and security assessments.
Resolve performance issues and implement revisions.
Represent the technology department in meetings.
Participate in design control activities.
Monitor, evaluate, and ensure task and project completion.
Analyze software requirements and security architecture.
Collaborate on system security requirements, audits, training, and compliance.
Implement design plans and review unit tests.
Test, debug, and document software development.
Craft, review, and revise product requirements and specifications.
Engage in all aspects of the software development process.
Train technical and non-technical end-users post-software development.
Offer technical support to fellow company personnel.

IT Development and Security Manager Background Profile:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security or business with technical experience.
3+ years of experience overseeing IT Service operations.
Profound knowledge of AGILE/LEAN development methodologies.
Expertise in best practices for high-quality, secure development.
Familiarity with the US healthcare, pharmacy, and insurance industries.
Verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills, including principles of building teamwork and providing excellent customer service.
Ability to utilize critical thinking and sense of ownership to focus on long term quality IT solutions.
Ability to apply a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments Knowledge of Computer Network Defense (CND) policies, procedures & regulations.
