Hybrid Insurance Defense Litigation Paralegal Role
This Insurance Defense Paralegal role is a fast-paced desk working with a team of Insurance Defense litigation lawyers. Â The right candidate is eager to work and thrives being on a busy desk.
Draft and revise pleadings, correspondence, and discovery
Prepare correspondence and affidavits
Communicate with clients, vendors, experts, and opposing counsel
Document management including reviewing, indexing, analyzing, and producing documents
Prepare trial notebooksÂ
Conduct legal research
Summarize medical records and depositions
Prepare attorneys for depositions, mediations, hearings and trialsÂ
Provide support at trial, hearings, depositions, mediations and arbitrations
Docket, manage and E-file in federal and state courts
Knowledge of document review programs for case preparation
Organize and manage fact witness and expert files
Scheduling court reporters and videographers for depositions
Hybrid Insurance Defense Litigation Paralegal Background Profile
Minimum 3-5 years of Insurance Defense Paralegal experience required
Paralegal Certificate a plus but not mandatory
Prior experience prepping for trial from intake to courthouse
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and communication skills
Firm needs a friendly but hard-working candidate
Candidate must possess the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Candidate must be punctual and enjoy working in a team environment
Candidate must be able to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment
Candidate must have superior organizational skillsÂ
