Our client in Austin, TX has an immediate need for a Human Resources Generalist on a direct hire basis.

Human Resources Generalist Role:
The Human Resources manager will be responsible for the development of an employee-oriented culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, employee retention and development, and high performance.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organization’s human resource function by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resource policies, programs, and practices including compliance with all applicable regulations.
Establish and implement standard recruiting and hiring practices and procedures necessary to recruit, hire, and retain a superior workforce.
Responsible for new hire process from recruitment through orientation and onboarding.
Responsible for employee termination process.
Responsible for development and implementation of human resource training.
Provides guidance and support to leadership and management regarding personnel and HR issues.
Utilize the HRIS system to reduce administrative tasks, empower employees, and meet the other needs of the organization.
Set up and maintain timekeeping system.
Responsible for advising leadership on organization wage and salary structure and pay policies.
Establish pay practices and pay bands that help to recruit and retain superior staff.
Responsible for annual salary analysis and reporting.
Assist in negotiating benefits contracts.
Processes benefits enrollments and terminations and verifies that deductions are handled properly.
Responsible for processing short term disability and workers compensation claims and correspondence with insurance companies.
Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
Assists with policy development and updating employee handbook policies.
Designs, directs, and manages a company-wide process of organizational development that addresses issues such as succession planning, superior workforce development, employee retention, organization design, and change management.
Identifies and monitors the organization’s culture so that it supports the attainment of the company’s goals and promotes employee satisfaction.


Human Resources Generalist Background Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
2+ years successful progression in HR positions
Active affiliation with appropriate Human Resources networks and organizations and ongoing community involvement – preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Effective interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills
High level of confidence and the ability to communicate firmly and effectively
Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs
