Our high-profile Personal Injury Law Firm Client in McKinney, Texas is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator.  This HR Coordinator must have excellent communication skills, great organizational skills, and knowledge of HR functions.

Human Resources Coordinator Role
Assist in the recruiting process by posting on job sites and reviewing resumes as well as maintaining relationships with local recruiters
Process biweekly payroll for all employees; process incentive and bonus payments quarterly Process payroll changes – increases, direct deposit changes
Maintain personnel files and employee information in ADP; maintain documentation of performance issues and disciplinary matters
Hiring/ Onboarding process – complete the onboarding process in ADP; manage offer letters; initiate pre-hire duties including background checks and drug screens, E-verify; work closely with LMS Administrator in the hiring/onboarding process
Assist with new employee Orientation & follow up with new hires throughout the Onboarding process
Termination process – ensure that benefits are canceled when applicable; work with LMS Administrator to ensure that all company property is returned
Maintain Employee Handbook and make revisions as needed
Assist employees with benefits – initiate enrollment at eligibility date; communicate benefit information & oversee Open Enrollment process; ensure that appropriate deductions for health/dental/vision/life benefits as well as SIMPLE IRA. Review monthly statements from providers for accuracy 
Work closely with Member Benefits and Retirement Planners of America in the administration of employee benefits
Assist employees with PTO questions; communicate time off/ scheduling with appropriate team members
Oversee the planning of Team Building initiatives and social events
Employee Recognition – recognize employees on birthdays and anniversaries by way of Team announcement and cards/gift cards

Human Resources Coordinator Background 
Excellent attention to detail
Able to become familiar with applicable laws, policies, and procedures
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite software (Word, Outlook) and excellent Excel skills
Ability to become adept at use of various HRIS/payroll databases and report writing
Accurate touch-typing at a net speed of at least 40 words per minute
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; demonstrated use of correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation
Ability to work effectively within a team environment and to work proactively
Strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment; ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to maintain confidential information and exhibit a high-level of integrity, trust, and professionalism
