Human Resource Director

Human Resource Director Role:
The Human Resource Director will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resource department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization's mission and talent strategy across multiple sites.
Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department
Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations
Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy
Collaborates with senior leadership to align HR strategies with organizational objectives.
Plans, leads, and implements HR policies, processes, and initiatives to ensure compliance and support strategic goals.
Administers HR programs including compensation, benefits, and performance management.
Identifies staffing needs and implements effective recruitment strategies.
Analyzes organizational data to identify trends and improve HR practices.
Ensures compliance with employment laws and recommends policy updates as necessary.
Stays abreast of HR trends, regulations, and technological advancements.
Manages departmental budget effectively.
Facilitates professional development and training for HR staff and company-wide employees.
Maintains and updates the employee handbook and other relevant policies.
Human Resource Director Background Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
At least five years of human resource management experience required.
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly preferred.
Must be willing to work in office
Bilingual in Spanish a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulationsy
