Human Resources Manager Role:
The Human Resources Manager will play a critical role in shaping, refining, and leading the company’s HR function during a period of significant growth. This Human Resources Manager position is not a ground-up build, but rather an opportunity to optimize, enhance, and scale existing HR processes and systems.
Leading full-cycle recruiting efforts and transitioning hiring ownership from administrative staff
Designing and implementing scalable talent acquisition and internship programs
Developing career pathing frameworks and supporting employee growth initiatives
Evaluating and enhancing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training programs
Redesigning and modernizing performance review processes to align with company values and business outcomes
Building and executing retention strategies to address engagement, career progression, and competitive market pressures
Overseeing HR operations including policies, compliance, employee relations, and documentation
Managing benefits administration, vendor relationships, and open enrollment processes
Supporting payroll and HR systems coordination and process improvements
Partnering with external counsel on immigration processes (H-1B, green card support)
Tracking and analyzing HR metrics including retention, turnover, and engagement
Promoting a culture aligned with integrity, respect, and humility
Human Resources Manager Background Profile:
5–10+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or HR management capacity
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employment laws, and best practices
Experience owning multiple HR functions (recruiting, employee relations, performance management, etc.)
Proven ability to build, refine, or scale HR processes in a growing organization
Experience with HRIS systems, payroll, and benefits administration
Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
High level of discretion and professionalism
Preferred:
Experience in engineering, construction, or technical/professional services environments
Exposure to LMS implementation, career pathing, or performance management redesign
Familiarity with immigration coordination processes
