Head of Sustainability Role:
In this role, you will take the lead in client communications and presentations to define project timelines and expectations, offering expertise in carbon-related matters.Â
Additionally, oversee internal workload planning and continually explore growth opportunities in this fiercely competitive landscape.
Facilitate the provision of the company’s Carbon Management Solutions, encompassing services such as carbon advising, GHG inventory report development, inventory management planning, CDP reporting guidance, and other carbon accounting tasks.
Take charge of specific project components from inception to completion, ensuring top-notch quality, timely delivery, and effective presentation.Â
Collaborate closely with clients and cross-functional company teams to execute comprehensive carbon assessments tailored to their needs.Â
Maintain regular communication with client contacts, leading discussions and presentations to establish project timelines and expectations while offering expertise in carbon-related matters.Â
Coordinate internal workload planning and project schedules in conjunction with Senior Carbon Analysts.Â
Identify growth opportunities in this competitive sector and contribute to the ongoing strategic advancement of the company’s service offerings.
On a daily basis, you will meet with the leadership team, spend time working on projects and time with clients (working with a wider delivery team), provide support to the sales team with ideas and contributions to grow the business, communicate with stakeholders, and spend time on research and innovation.
Head of Sustainability Background Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or a related field
Carbon, GHG, Sustainability experience
5+ years’ experience and passion about sustainability
Management/leadership skills – proven ability to provide leadership to the team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
Self-driven and self-motivated
Ability to work in the Dallas office and travel occasionally throughout the US when necessary
