HR Generalist Role:
In this role, you will report to the Director of Human Resources and be the point of contact for employees on HR related questions.  
You will oversee the HR Coordinator/Specialist and lead by example.
You will also help streamline the HR processes throughout the company and help as the company continues to grow.
Responsible for assisting in developing and updating job descriptions, rules, procedures, and policies
Provide assistance to employees in the resolution of issues and concerns
Responsible for assisting with training as needed by the training team, working with HR Administration with onboarding and new hires
Assist with compensation programs by performing compensation evaluations to help the company remain competitive, and implementing compensation plans supported by the research of local market data for positions
Assist supervisors and management with disciplinary issues and recommend and/or administer discipline when necessary
Provide employees answers to Benefit questions or any pay issues that arise
Assist the company with performance management, employee engagement, and talent development
Participate in facility safety and meeting including safety committee meetings and accident investigations

HR Generalist Background Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration, or a related field
Would possibly consider a combination of work experience and education in lieu of a degree
2+ years Generalist experience
Some management or supervisory experience
Strong policies and procedures experience – ability to create policies and procedures and teach procedures
Experience building structure within HR
Strong employee relations experience
Background in healthcare is a plus but not required
MS Office Suite – specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
HRIS experience is required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong presentation skills and interpersonal skills
Strong work ethic
Proven record of strategic partnerships which enhance the HR experience
Ability to work with all levels of personnel
Team player and willing to assist in other duties when needed
