We have a fantastic opportunity for an HR Coordinator with our busy and growing client on a contract to possible hire basis in the Columbus, Ohio area. 

HR Coordinator Role: 
The HR Coordinator will perform administrative duties in support of the Human Resources Department.
Responsibilities include:
Handles tasks relating to the maintenance and processing of personnel status changes and reports.
Processes payroll changes using a computerized system.
Processes background/criminal history checks.
Maintains employee personnel files.
Strong communication and interaction with job applicants, employees, department heads, and public and private agencies.
Provides clerical and operational support to other human resource staff.
Maintains a high level of confidentiality of all employee records and information.
Maintains, updates and distributes the employee phone list.
Ensures compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification
Performs periodic audits on Forms I-9.
Reviews applications, prescreens/interviews in an effort to assist with recruitment tasks as needed 
Conducts new-hire orientation.


HR Coordinator Background Profile:
High School diploma or the equivalent
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an HR Coordinator 
Must be able to communicate in a friendly and professional manner. 
Strong sense of urgency as well as a high level of confidentiality.
Proficient user of MS Office and HRIS systems
