Busy and growing client near Oklahoma City, OK  has an immediate need for a Contracts Manager on a direct hire basis.

Government Contracts Manager:
The government contracts manager is responsible for managing and coordinating activities of designated programs to ensure that contractual requirements and company objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by personally performing the following duties. 
Receives Request for Proposals (RFPs) or other contractual documents and ensures dissemination to proper personnel. 
Develop and review proposals to ensure accuracy and on time delivery to customers. 
Meet company objectives by building relationships and communicating with government contract officers and administrators.
Confers with program staff to ensure program plans meet Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) requirements. 
Prepares, reviews, and delivers program reports, deliverables, and contractual documents to senior management and customers as required. 
Contract types include Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Materials (T&M), Cost Plus Incentive Fee (CPIF), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and Cost-Plus Fixed Fee Level of Effort (CPFFLOE). 
Act as both Prime Contractor and Subcontractor capacities.
Confers with program or project managers and program personnel to provide contractual advice and assist in problem resolution. 
Work closely with Funds Manager on Purchase Orders and Invoices. 
Coordinates contractual activities with activities of customers, program managers, project managers, and off- site remote personnel. 

Government Contracts Manager Background Profile:
Bachelor’s Degree Required
5+ years experience in Contract Management as a Procurement Contract Officer (PCO) or Administrative Contract Officer (ACO)
Must have experience with the Department of Defense or other government agency contracting.
Ability to read and interpret written information; writes clearly and informatively; reviews and edits work for spelling and grammar. 
Experience with Microsoft Office is required as well as experience in SharePoint is highly preferred. 
Experience with FARs and DFARs is required.
Willingness to make decisions; exhibits sound and accurate judgment; supports and explains reasoning for decisions; includes appropriate people in decision-making process; makes timely decisions. 
Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills, shares expertise with others. 
Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; works well in group problem solving situations; uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics. 
US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a government security clearance (up to Top Secret) is required.
