Front Desk Receptionist Role:
The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and visitors, playing a vital role in creating a positive and welcoming experience. Medical experience is not required.
Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
Answer multi-line phones and direct calls appropriately
Schedule and confirm patient appointments
Check in and check out patients
Verify and update patient information
Collect co-pays and other payments
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
File and scan documents into electronic medical records system
Communicate effectively with clinical staff and support team operations
Front Desk Receptionist Background Profile:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous customer service, office, or front desk experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
Friendly, professional demeanor with the ability to multitask
Willingness to learn medical office procedures and systems
