Financial Institution Audit Supervisor
Our Brentwood, TN client is looking for a Financial Institution Audit Supervisor to join their thriving team on a direct hire basis. This position is also available in Memphis, TN, Baton Rouge, LA, and Ridgeland, MS.

Financial Institution Audit Supervisor Role:
Develop relationships with clients and provide outstanding client service.
Cross-sell business services to enhance the client relationship as project evolve.
Present outstanding project management skills, ensuring that all accounting, auditing, and consulting projects remain on schedule and accurate.
Provide general supervision of associates and mentor junior members and new hires on the team.
Prepare and/or review financial statements, notes, schedules, letters, tax returns.
Oversee items that could be questioned in financial information, tax activities, or business operations.
Assist in firm recruiting, networking, and marketing initiatives.
Train staff, offering guidance on letters and working papers, providing constructive criticism.
Will travel up to 70% of the time. 35% local and 35% overnight.
Financial Institution Audit Supervisor Background Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting – Master’s degree is preferred.
3+ years of hands on experience in public accounting
Must have an active/valid CPA license
Prefer candidates who have worked for the one of the Top 50 accounting firms
Previous experience with auditing financial institutions such as banks would be helpful
Must have previous audit experience
Strong knowledge of accounting software, related programs.
