Financial Analyst Role:
Prepare property valuation and cash flow models in Excel for use in acquisitions, dispositions and financings
Identify risks and opportunitiesÂ
Be responsible for quarterly close for all fund level partnerships
Be responsible for recording journal entries for all capital calls and distributions activities and all other activities
Be responsible for workpaper supporting schedules for all balance sheet and income statement accounts
Oversee GAAP capital account allocations and reconciliations
Prepare quarterly fund management fee billings
Calculate and prepare capital call drawdown notice to investors
Involved in all system migration and implementation
Develop relationships with regional asset managers and leasing agents in the field, periodically visit properties, and attend budget and leasing meetings in order to become intimately familiar with all aspects of assigned properties
Financial Analyst Background Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in FinanceÂ
1-5 years of experience in a financial analyst role
Complex retail mixed use real estate industry experience is a huge plus
Advanced Excel skills
Experience with Argus software is a plus
The ideal candidate desires to work with a company and in a department that can be quiet and organized as well as fast paced and crazy at times.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Professional demeanor and presence
Ability to work under pressure
Multi-task and prioritize numerous activities
Ability to work on several projects at one time
Strong analytical skills including financial modeling, risk analysis, and research
Self-motivated, positive attitude, and high energy
