Senior Export Control Analyst
Our client, based in Houston, Texas, is currently seeking a talented Senior Export Control Analyst for a direct-hire position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to oversee and support activities involving controlled exports.
- Ensure protection of sensitive technologies while facilitating compliant collaboration on national and international projects.
- Review outbound shipments and technical data transfers to ensure compliance with U.S. trade regulations.
- Provide guidance on item and technology classification for export under relevant frameworks.
- Assist in preparing and evaluating documentation for license applications and exemptions.
- Track authorization usage and report on license conditions to program authorities.
- Offer timely guidance to internal stakeholders on export compliance matters.
- Develop and deliver training sessions on export control policies and related topics.
- Maintain compliance records and documentation of training activities.
- Adhere to safety standards and protocols at all times.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required to support organizational initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- Proficiency in international trade regulations, particularly ITAR and EAR.
- Familiarity with trade compliance ethics and export licensing practices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Job Requirements
Must have- 5 years in an export role with experience in ITAR, EAR, and documentation related to export compliance and trade ethics. ** Confirmed the following is preferred- they will interview if they don't have*** Certification as a United States Export Compliance Officer (CUSECO) and Secret Clearance
