Events Sales Manager Role:
The Events Sales Manager will be responsible for the maintenance and flow of the all sales and marketing activities and initiatives, including networking, special events, social media, etc
Responsible for managing the sales inquiries and ensuring all standards are being met by providing accurate information to potential clients, including spearheading the planning and execution of inhouse events full service event, facility only events, and combination of both
Keeping up with correspondence and have accountable response times
Monitoring and tracking of clients requesting information
Ensuring customer service standards
Maintaining Weekly/Bi-Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly reporting
Booking and facilitating site tours coordination with other team members
Maintain direct contact with current and future clients
Work with management team to coordinate press events and messaging is timed and released to effectively promote events
Update the web site, phones, and third party web sites with ongoing event information
Works closely with management team to create social media content
Events Sales Manager Background Profile:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficient using the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint; some experience with website content management systems
Experience with Tripleseat or other event management software is required
Previous sales and/or event coordinating experience
Management experience a plus
Demonstrate a high level of creativity in closing deals and bringing new business
Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments on a daily basis.
Able to work weekends, holidays, and early-morning hours if needed
Customer services orientation and professional communication skills
