Engineering Supervisor
Our growing client in Houston, TX is hiring an Engineering Supervisor.  This is a direct hire hourly opportunity.

Engineering Supervisor Role:
Engineering Supervisor will mentor a team of engineers, designers, and technicians to ensure effective collaboration and optimal performance.
Foster their professional development and enhance their skills.
Manage product lifecycle from concept to production, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Coordinate production, quality assurance, and sales, to translate customer needs into innovative vehicle designs.
Engineering Supervisor will oversee the design process, including structural, mechanical, and electrical systems, to ensure functional integrity, safety, and compliance with applicable regulations.
Approve engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation throughout the development process.
Prioritize engineering projects and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery within budgetary constraints.
Engineering Supervisor will communicate project status, milestones, and challenges to management.
Monitor and approve Time and Attendance as well as PTO requests
Monitor who is clocked in each morning in UKG.
Ensure all employees are clocked in or are logged in.
Review and approve/deny PTO requests in conversation with employees.

Engineering Supervisor Background Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
5 years in a engineering management or supervisory role 
Ideal candidates will have automotive or manufacturing industry experience
Technical expertise in CAD software
