Quality Supervisor Role:
The Quality Supervisor  will ensure product and service quality through the development and implementation of effective quality management systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and implement all quality-related policies, procedures, and training plans, requiring Presidential approval for revisions.
Act as Quality Management Representative, auditing procedural effectiveness and presenting Quality System status to the Management Team.
Oversee Supplier Quality Assurance, including development and evaluation of requirements for approved suppliers.
Ensure customer-specific quality requirements are integrated into policies and procedures.
Review and approve all PPAP submissions for accuracy and completeness.
Review current production change notifications to maintain quality procedures and obtain customer approvals when necessary.
Select, train, and evaluate quality personnel.
Track and report the Cost of Quality to the Management Team.
Collaborate with other functions to ensure customer satisfaction and develop action plans for non-conformance.
Establish and define necessary quality organizational requirements.
Provide resources for quality planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure personnel are adequately trained in their quality responsibilities.
Assess quality system effectiveness through ongoing audits of products and processes.
Review rejections from customers and suppliers, initiating corrective actions as needed.
Analyze PPM data and trends to recommend improvements in quality and productivity.
Participate in planning processes to ensure product design feasibility and quality standards.
Review and recommend changes to quality documentation such as DFMEA and PFMEA.
Supervise quality department activities to ensure effective corrective actions.
Represent customer interests in quality-related decisions.
Quality Supervisor Background Profile
In-depth knowledge of quality systems and operational procedures.
Automotive industry experience a plusÂÂ
ISO 9001 required and IATF 16949 preferred
Familiarity with laboratory testing methods and standards.
General understanding of supplier expectations and requirements.
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
Knowledge of quality management procedures, including continuous improvement and inspection protocols.
