Division Order Analyst Role:
As the Division Order Analyst, you will oversee company records.
As the division order analyst, you establish, prepare, review, approve, and maintain documents regarding production and land ownership for royalty owners.
Evaluate leases, contracts, and title opinions to calculate interests in both operated and non-operated wells
Establish and manage revenue and joint interest billing decks.
Monitor drilling schedules and daily drilling reports to facilitate the timely setup of new properties.
Conduct research on files, analyze wills, and examine deeds to resolve complex estate, transfer, and ownership discrepancies.
Determine ownership through the application of laws of descent and distribution/intestate succession when necessary.
Initiate pay code changes and ownership transfers of intermediate to advanced complexity within the Excalibur system.
Collaborate with the Revenue and JIB accounting groups to resolve inquiries from working and royalty owners.
Work collaboratively within a team to ensure efficient operations and increased productivity.
Support management in special projects as required.
Division Order Analyst Background Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is preferred
Division Order Analyst certification or Professional Lease and Title Analyst certification preferred
3+years’ experience in onshore oil and gas Land Administration and direct involvement in Division Orders is required
MS Office Suite, especially strong Excel skills
Land software experience, and experience with Excalibur software is a plus
Familiar with state and federal regulations, as well as standard land and legal practices related to accurate revenue payments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
Ability to work and interact with all levels within the organization including management and staff
Strong attention to detail
Ability to have complex problem solving skills with limited supervision
Strong analytical skills
