The Director of Ventures and Operations is a high-autonomy execution leader responsible for building, launching, and scaling new business ventures and acquired companies across a diverse portfolio. This role acts as the operational engine behind new initiatives defined by executive leadership. Direct hire, onsite opportunity.

Director of Ventures and Operations Role:
Act as a venture builder focused on taking concepts and acquisitions from idea stage through operational launch, scale, and performance optimization.
New Venture Build & Execution
Launch new business units from concept through execution
Build operational infrastructure (systems, teams, processes)
Own execution of go-to-market strategy in partnership with leadership
Translate leadership vision into operational reality
M&A Integration & Expansion
Support evaluation and due diligence of acquisition targets
Lead post-acquisition integration and operational stabilization
Identify inefficiencies and implement performance improvements
Operational Scaling
Build KPIs, dashboards, and operational reporting systems
Drive efficiency and profitability improvements across ventures
Establish repeatable operating frameworks
Marketing & Growth Execution
Develop marketing and customer acquisition strategies
Build and scale revenue engines across new businesses
Align sales, marketing, and operations for growth execution
Team Building & Leadership
Recruit and develop leadership teams for new ventures
Build and scale teams from scratch or small foundations
Establish accountability and performance culture
Director of Ventures and Operations Background Profile:
7–15 years experience in operator or builder roles
Experience launching or scaling businesses or business units required
Background as founder, early-stage operator, or PE portfolio operator strongly preferred
Strong marketing + revenue generation exposure required
Experience working across multiple industries or business models preferred
Comfortable operating in ambiguity with high autonomy
Proven ability to build teams, systems, and revenue engines
MBA preferred but not required
Strong preference for candidates with both IC + leadership experience
