Director of Talent Acquisition Role:
The Director of Talent Acquisition will partner closely with leadership and stakeholders at all levels to assess development needs, create and deliver solutions and content, and evaluate training and development solutions.
Responsible for employee engagement, process improvement, team building, recognition, and ongoing training and professional development
Manage, coach and grow the recruiting team to achieve optimal results
Responsible for the training of the ATS systems, as well as creating and maintaining reports
Network and build a talent community
Work closely with Operations and HR leaders to retain and attract great candidates
Create successful job advertisements and company branding to assist with the recruiting
Responsible for developing processes that create a positive and professional candidate experience
Partner with Operations to build effective sourcing and recruiting approaches to decrease time to fill numbers
Responsible to develop innovative programs and put into place processes to improve recruitment efforts and KPI’ s
Responsible to follow state and federal laws and company policies for recruiting and all employment practices
Responsible for developing short and long term strategies as they relate to recruiting great candidates
Develop community-based partnerships across multiple states
Responsible for providing reports weekly, monthly and as needed
Responsible to present recruitment updates at operations meetings on a monthly basis
Excellent communication will be necessary to ensure timeliness of the processes
Director of Talent Acquisition Background Profile:
Bachelor’ s degree in HR or a similar field such as Communications, Business, Education
Master’ s degree is a plus but not required
5+ years’ experience in leading and growing a successful recruiting team
Ability to handle stressful situations
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven success in implementing innovative ways to recruit candidates in this market
Experience thinking outside of the box
Experience developing multiple programs for talent acquisition including community and industry outreach programs
Experience and success with outbound recruiting
