Our client located in Augusta, GA needs a Director of Research.This is a direct hire opportunity.

Director of Research Role:
Drive the clinical research initiatives.
Director of Research will run the clinical research division.
Direct and oversee all clinical research functions, setting the pace for excellence in research study development and program standards.
Manage the development and implementation of our clinical research practice, including staff training, regulatory affairs, and budget management.
Negotiate clinical trial agreements, oversee program budgets, and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders.
Develop and maintain clinical research policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards.
Lead project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outcomes within budgetary constraints.
Provide educational sessions and training to employees, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Supervise work through planning and scheduling work, and reviewing and approving tasks.
Director of Research Background Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent.
Licensure as an RN in accordance with the state board of nursing for Georgia.
5+ years of experience in Clinical Research.
Minimum 10 years of combined experience in nursing, research, and operations.
Expert knowledge of burn, wound, tissue, infectious disease, and critical care research concepts.
Proficiency in overseeing cooperative group trials and CRO/CRA activities.
Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and regulations effectively.
