Our client in Dallas, TX has an immediate opening for a Director of Operations on a direct hire basis.

Director of Operations Role:
As the Director of Retail Operations, you will be a pivotal figure in overseeing and managing retail operations spread across multiple locations. Your primary objective is to ensure the efficiency and profitability of the retail stores while upholding the highest standards of customer service. This role involves close collaboration with store managers, corporate teams, and various stakeholders to drive operational excellence and achieve business objectives.
Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize sales, enhance operational efficiency, and improve the overall customer experience.
Work with the COO/CEO on company policies, objectives, and plans to maintain consistent operational standards across all retail locations.
Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
Lead and motivate a team of retail managers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for initiatives such as visual merchandising, inventory management, and marketing campaigns.
Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and security regulations in all retail operations.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and create actionable reports to track progress and make informed business decisions.
Foster a positive work environment encouraging teamwork, employee development, and exceptional customer service.
Collaborate with company leadership to achieve organizational goals of customer satisfaction, profitability, growth, and people development.
Work with the COO/CEO on company policies, objectives, and plans.
Manage retail store operations collaboratively with Merchandising and Procurement to maximize sales and profit opportunities.
Attain projected sales, gross profit margins, expense control, and net profit.
Bring knowledge and experience to incorporate successful approaches to operations, stores, merchandising, and distribution.
Develop plans for business expansion and identify opportunities to increase value-added services to customers.
Provide highly credible leadership and establish a stable, creative, and proactive culture.
Set performance goals, encourage managers, and align people, processes, policies, and assets among divisions.
Identify and implement change initiatives to improve workflow and productivity.
Assess, recruit, and develop best-in-class talent in the organization.
Provide strategic planning and operational expertise for store performance and comp store growth.
Facilitate communication between departments, ensure proper operational controls, and support community involvement.

Director of Operations Background Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum 10 years of proven experience in retail operations management, demonstrating success in achieving targets and driving profitability.
Bilingual preferred.
Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate diverse and multi-cultural teams.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, making data-driven decisions.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
In-depth knowledge of retail industry best practices and emerging trends.
Proficient in using retail management software and tools.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
