Director of Marketing:
In this role, you will be an integral part of the company’s continued growth and work with the leadership team and direct the marketing initiatives.
Lead the formulation, execution, and enhancement of integrated marketing campaigns, overseeing the entire lifecycle from initial contact to final execution, with a focus on driving growth.
Responsible to develop powerful analytical processes to establish campaign expectations, inform decision-making, and recommend marketing strategies.
Work closely with the senior leadership team to create a strategic marketing plan, execute the plan and manage the marketing budget.
Incorporate data from diverse sources to derive actionable insights, document lessons as best practices, and identify cost-effective tracking tools.Â
Create marketing and promotional materials, as well as sales collateral, web content, blog articles, press releases, social media posts, video scripts, and both print and digital copy.Â
Edit, proofread, and revise communications.Â
To the extent needed to execute the marketing plan, manage a small team of freelance specialists for design and video projects.Â
Provide customized collateral support to the outside sales team.
Drive the promotion of the company’s services through targeted social media and public relations initiatives.Â
Develop and implement brand awareness campaigns and initiatives to support the company’s expansion into new verticals.
Develop content marketing, nurture marketing, and social media strategy to make sure efforts are in alignment with the company’s brand strategy and organizational standards.Â
Provide strategic leadership to the marketing initiative.
Director of Marketing Background Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing or a related field
Master’s degree is a plus but not required.
8-10+ years of experience
The ideal candidate is an individual contributor with a proven track record of working in digital marketing as well as print marketing.
Demonstrate experience in leading and managing SEO/ORM, marketing databases, email campaigns, social media efforts, and display advertising campaigns.Â
Strong creative skills – Create engaging and motivational digital campaigns while identifying target audiences.Â
Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.Â
Strong knowledge of website analytics tools such as Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, and WebTrends.Â
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills.
Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills to meet deadlines.
Be skilled in setting up and optimizing Google AdWords campaigns.Â
Have a working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.Â
Strong analytical skills along with a data-driven mindset.Â
Have an awareness of shifts in the market and continuously monitor the relevance of the website and collateral materials.
